Edoardo is the founder of a property consultancy firm called Banda, which means "big shed" in Swahili.
He founded the company in 2007.
He specialises in discreetly finding and developing multi-million-pound homes for rich clients.
Father of three
The couple have one child together.
They announced the birth of their first child on September 20, 2021.
The Palace said: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
"The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces.
"The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news.
"The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care."
The couple named their daughter Sienna Elizabeth in a touching nod to the Queen.
Baby Sienna is Edoardo's second child and Princess Beatrice's first.
Edoardo also has a son name Christopher Woolf with his ex-fiancee Dara Huang.
Princess Beatrice is now a stepmother to young Christopher.
On October 1, 2024, the couple announced that they were expecting another child.
Love at first sight
It is thought that the pair first met in September 2018, shortly before Beatrice's sister Eugenie got married.
A friend told The Sun at the time: “Beatrice and Edo have the same circle of friends and were introduced through a mutual chum.
“They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together. They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad."
They added: “Everyone is thrilled that Bea is so happy and in such a good place right now.”
Beatrice had been single since splitting from her American boyfriend Dave Clark in 2016 after a decade together.
Royal wedding
As the daughter of Prince Andrew and granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo could have had a public royal wedding as enjoyed by her younger sister Eugenie.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony was postponed until 17 July 2020.
Despite being rescheduled, the couple decided to have a small ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Their wedding was attended by 20 guests, including the late Queen, Prince Philip and her father Prince Andrew.
