Aldi slashes Cadbury Easter choc prices to as little as £1.45 including mini eggs and creme eggs

ALDI has slashed the price of many of its Cadbury Easter chocolates including mini eggs and creme eggs to as little as £1.45.

You can now get your hands on some of the most popular Easter eggs at a lower price with these exciting discounts.

The budget supermarket has slashed its price for the giant 232g Cadbury Mini Eggs Easter egg.

With two Mini Eggs hidden inside the enormous egg, the sweet treat comes with an even sweeter deal as it now costs just £4.95, reduced from £5.99.

This near 20 per cent saving is the best of the lot, but many others have still seen savings greater than 10 per cent.

If 232g is too much for you, you can opt for the more compact 97g Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Egg, which has had its price cut down to just £1.45.

The large Easter egg comes with a number of secret Mini Eggs hidden inside.

Also seeing their prices slashed to just £1.45 are the Dairy Milk Freddo and Buttons chocolate eggs.

Coming in at 12 per cent lower than their normal price, both 96g eggs are perfect options to celebrate Easter Sunday, which this year falls on April 20.

The Buttons egg naturally comes with milk chocolate buttons inside while the Freddo egg has the added bonus of Freddo Faces inside the shell.

But if 97g doesn't quite suit your sweet tooth, Aldi has also reduced prices on its middle weight eggs.

Cadbury's 198g Twirl Egg and 195g Cadbury Creme Egg are also both on offer, and have seen their prices drop by a satisfying 11 per cent.

Instead of their usual £3.99 price tags, both eggs are selling for the bargain price of just £3.45.

The Twirl Egg comes with an entire Twirl bar, on top of the egg, while the Creme Egg product comes with the addition of a singular regular Creme Egg.

Going that one step further, Aldi also has discounts available for those not wanting a traditional Easter egg.

It has reduced the price of its pack of five Creme Eggs down to just £2.95.

While this only represents a saving of 2 per cent, the discount is no doubt still a welcome surprise for shoppers - and in the words of it's supermarket rival, every little helps.

RIVAL SUPERMARKET EGG DISCOUNTS

A number of other retailers have recently cut their egg prices, and some are also providing multi-buy offers.

Asda has several deals on Easter eggs at the moment, making it a great option for value especially if you want to stock up.

You can buy four eggs from a selected range for £11.96 working out as £2.99 an egg, and this includes the Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons egg, 195g.

You can also buy any two eggs from a selected range for £8.98 working out as £4.49 an egg, including the Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel egg, 245g.

Morrisons also has offers of its own, cutting the price of selected medium sized Cadbury Easter eggs from £4 to £2.50 for More Card holders.

The deal includes Twirl, 198g, Creme Egg, 195g, and Mini Eggs, 193g, and is the cheapest we could find these sized eggs at the moment, making it a bargain well worth stocking up on ahead of Easter.

It's not strictly Cadbury's but Terrys Chocolate Orange egg is also included in the promotion.

Tesco is also currently offering customers almost a third off Easter favourites from Cadbury.

It's part of a wider promotion that also covers selected eggs from Lindt and Raffaello.

As part of the deal you can get eggs for as little as £1.35.

And depending on which Easter egg you choose, there are savings of up to £5.50 per egg.
