TikToker Orim (@Orim) said she and her locks have never felt better since she ditched the shampoo during her "no 'poo" journey.

"Day 236 not using shampoo," she captioned her January post.

Orim held up a jar with plants and liquid for the camera.

"I've become obsessed with herbal hair rinses," she said. "This is what your hair and scalp crave. It's nature's magic."

"I never hair dandruff, ever," Orim added.

The TikToker said to get a large mason jar and fill it with rosemary, thyme, calendula flowers, and mint.

Once the jar is full, Orim said to add "raw, unpasteurized, organic" apple cider vinegar to the mixture.

Then you put the lid on and shake it up.

"The apple cider vinegar is what cleans and clarifies the hair and scalp," she said. "It balances the PH levels.

"It leaves the hair very strong, smooth, and shiny," the TikToker continued. "It cleans my hair so well without drying it out."

Orim lets the mixture marinate for six weeks and then strains it.

"You take one part of this liquid with four parts of water," she said. "Mix that up, bring it in the shower, and pour it on your hair."

There's one more part to Orim's hair hack: Don't accidentally get the vinegar in your eyes. She said it burns worse than a UTI.

"Close your eyes as tight as you can, massage it into your scalp nicely, and then wait a few minutes," she said.

Orim makes sure to wash out the rinse well, and she repeats the process twice or thrice a month.

According to Healthline, herbal remedies can help with the growth, strength, and thickness of your hair, or support scalp health.
