The wives and girlfriends of wealthy athletes are often thought to live the life of Riley. However, one WAG has now claimed that her life with a professional sportsman wasn't always glamorous.
In fact, Chanen Johnson says she married her footballer husband "when he was broke" in hopes that she'd be around "for the come up".
The 29-year-old is married to Juwan Johnson, 28, with the pair tying the knot in 2020 after meeting at university.
They welcomed their first daughter in July 2023 and their second in October last year.
Juwan plays for New Orleans Saints of the US’ National Football League (NFL), with Chanen previously suggesting that his salary is around £40,000 per game.

The mum-of-two ruffled feathers last year by saying that Juwan pays all of her bills, including mortgage, cars, bills, holidays, insurance and shopping.
She rationalised that “making her husband’s babies from scratch” is her financial contribution to their relationship.
By this, she means growing and carrying their children in her womb throughout the pregnancy.
She made the tongue-in-cheek confession in a viral TikTok video and it sparked a flurry of criticism.
Trolls then warned that “if they divorce, she has nothing” and urged her to “provide a lot more to keep him”.
Furthermore, in January last year, Chanen was at the centre of a social media storm when she said that there’s “literally no point” in her having a full-time job.
She said that whatever “normal” job she did, she would be making annually how much her husband makes for playing in half of an American football game.
“Literally, there is no point,” she explained.
“We are better off as a couple having me be at home and handling all the other 99% of the factors in the relationship.
“He can handle the one… Which is making money.”
That being said, Chanen has carved out a strong social media following that she likely makes money through.
She has 789,000 Instagram followers and hosts a podcast with Juwan, where they discuss relationships and parenthood.
