Bosses of the Netflix favourite shared a teaser trailer on X tonight.

The Black Mirror account captioned the black and white clip: "hip hip hooray."

One fan reacted: "Omg, I can't wait to be gooped and gagged."

"Finally! I’ve said it before: Charlie Brooker is one of the greatest television writers ever! Give him ALL the Emmy’s," another said.

A third pitched their own episode idea, writing: "One of the new stories could be a remake of a classic Black Mirror episode, but with a twist or updated setting. Perhaps they'll revisit a popular concept but explore it from a different angle."

One more said: "We are already living in black mirror honestly."

The long-running satirical anthology series, from British journalist Charlie Brooker, included some very famous faces last year.

Season six dropped after a four year break for the show, and Charlie told Netflix back in June 2023: "Bringing it all to life, we’ve got an incredible roster of disgustingly skillful, smart directors, working with a cast of actors so talented they frankly have no right to exist."

Breaking Bad legend Aaron Paul featured in the Beyond The Sea episode, about a man living in space, and Salma Hayek starred in Joan Is Awful, in which an average woman is revealed to be cheating on her partner when her life is played out on a TV show.
