‘It’s madness, the death of the high street’ disgruntled shoppers fume as woman is left baffled at Primark’s high prices
A WOMAN has been left totally baffled at Primark’s prices - as she spotted white shirts and cargo trousers for £20 each.
The mother, who is from London, was stunned at the high prices after browsing her local Primark.
Posting on social media, the bargain hunter took her followers around her local store, as she said: “I’m sorry but I’ve just come into Primark and since when did a shirt cost £20?"
The shopper then spotted cargo trousers and was not impressed with the price.
She added: “Or cargo pants - £20?”

“What’s happened?!”
But this woman wasn’t the only one left shocked at Primark’s prices - as others described it ‘madness’.
The savvy shopper later claimed: “But sadly the quality is not good.”
Not only this, but she also wrote: “I spent £50 on tights, pjs, slippers and leggings.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @explorewithethan2021, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 429,900 views.
Many social media users were equally as confused by the chain’s prices and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Actually madness.”
Another added: “Primark has just become pointless now.”
A third commented: “You can get stuff cheaper in H&M, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's etc and they wash better and last longer!”
Meanwhile, someone else claimed: “They are going to price themselves out.
"I only go in for the absolute basics now and get better quality clothes elsewhere.”
Not only this, but another shopper expressed: “I stopped shopping in Primark for this reason!
"Used to be able to spend £20 and walk out with a bag full of clothes.”
To this, the mother responded: “No chance these days.”
One shopper even wrote: “That's why everyone does their shopping online now.”
In agreement, the bargain hunter replied: “Yep, death of the high street.”
Whilst another savvy shopper shared: “Shein has become my new Primark.”
Despite this, one Primark fan claimed: "I shop at Primark, I find the sale rail that's pretty cheap."
