Mum in court after ‘killing her 2 children in US home then fleeing to UK’
A MUM suspected of killing her two children in their US home before fleeing to the UK is in court today.
Kimberlee Singler was arrested in the Kensington area of London on Saturday by the National Crime Agency's National Extradition Unit after going on the run nearly two weeks ago.
Cops responded to a report of a burglary at an apartment complex in Palomino Ranch Point, Colorado Springs, at around 12.30am on December 19.
Singler's daughter Elianna, nine, and son Aden, seven, were found dead inside the apartment.
Police also found Singler and her 11-year-old daughter suffering from injuries lying next to the bodies of her other children.
They later said the 911 call turned out to be unfounded.

The 35-year-old initially cooperated with police but disappeared during the investigation.
Authorities were unable to apprehend her after obtaining an arrest warrant on Tuesday on charges of murder and attempted murder, among other allegations.
She was last seen in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on December 23.
Singler will now appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today for "commencement of extradition proceedings".
A spokesperson for the National Crime Agency told The Sun: "On Saturday 30 December 2023 in the Kensington area of London, officers from the National Crime Agency's National Extradition Unit arrested a 35-year-old female wanted in the United States of America for offences including two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
"She will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today (1 January) for commencement of extradition proceedings."
At first, Singler was treated as a burglary victim, the Colorado Springs Police Department said.
The injured girl was hospitalised for a few days before being released and is recovering in Colorado Springs.
The children's deaths came amid an ongoing legal battle between Singler and her ex-husband Kevin Wentz over parenting time and other issues.
The couple filed for divorce in 2018 and it was finalised in 2020.
A custody plan was approved by a Larimer County judge for Wentz to visit his children with full custody being granted to Singler.
Kevin shared a picture of himself with his three children yesterday in a Facebook group dedicated to the case.
He wrote: "Hello group. I'm the father. I also want to say she has been arrested."
"I'm sure you have a lot of questions," Wentz added in another post.
