‘That was a total car crash’ rant Britain’s Got Talent fans as they slam finalist for ‘boring’ performance

BRITIAN'S Got Talent fans have slammed comedian Alex Mitchell for his 'boring' performance.

The primary teacher from Leeds - who has autism and Tourettes - failed to impress viewers with his final comedy routine.

His performance saw him poke fun at his love life and dates as well as seeing him embrace his ticks, which began six months after he started performing.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one user wrote: "Didn’t find him that funny if I’m honest!"

A second echoed: "This guy's rubbish, so not funny."

A third said: "This show has definitely ran its course now. Boring."

"I have no hate towards Alex Mitchell but he is not a good comedian," another commented.

However, not all comments were negative and some were pleased with Alex's performance.

One X user said: "Alex Mitchell for the win."

Another wrote: "That was seriously impressive Alex Mitchell."

After his performance, Alex paid tribute to former rugby star Rob Burrow, whose death was announced on Sunday night (June 2).

He said: "An hour ago before I came on stage I got some sad news.

"To the family of Rob Burrow - he is a hero and I hope you know how much we love him here tonight, and for him advocating for disability rights is so important."

The audience and judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden erupted into applause.

Rob was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2019 which was just two years after retiring from a 17-season league career.

He passed away at Pinderfield's Hospital near his home after becoming ill earlier this week.
