And people are also taking to Facebook to share their tips and tricks too.

One group on the social media channel is called ‘Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls,’ and is filled with useful money savings hacks.

Money saver Neil Kennedy shared a post which gained hundreds of likes, as many thought the post was “awesome.”

He posted pictures of his big food shop, which was all discounted.

Neil wrote: “Love hitting Morrisons at just the right time, total spend of £7.66 for what should have been £74.68 worth of goods.”

Neil did this by bagging a load of ‘Yellow sticker’ items.

The stickers indicate price reductions as products near their Sell By Date.

Savvy shoppers have previously revealed on TikTok that the best time to go and bag the best deals is around an hour or two before closing.

And it appears Neil went at the perfect time.

His food shop included two packets of diced beef, two packets of meatballs, Pasta Bake, five packets of strawberries, four packets of Milkybar slices, two packets of mixed vegetables, four bottles of Innocent smoothies, two yoghurts, pineapple, melon, fromage frais, GU dessert and cooked meat.

The diced beef was originally £4.50 and had been reduced to 45p, whilst the meatballs were reduced from £4.25 to 43p.

He also managed to bag the Strawberries which were reduced from £3.50 to 35p, whilst the Innocent smoothies were originally £2 but he bought them for 20p.

The yoghurts were originally £1.79, and were reduced to 18p, whilst the Milkybar chocolate slices were reduced from £1.39 to 14p.

Other bargains included pineapple for 23p and Pasta Bake for 70p.

Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on his shopping haul.

One wrote: “Awesome!!! Those smoothies sure look good!

“Never seen that flavour before.”

Another added: “Go you.....well done. Fantastic haul.”

A third said: “Wow, that's amazing. Well done.”

But others thought he shouldn’t have bought so much and saved some of the deals for other shoppers.

One wrote: “I'm not jealous at all, what you achieved is amazing.

“But [you are] taking a lot of the benefits from others.

“We all need to share the wealth, perhaps take one  or two and let some others take advantage of these offerings. Just saying.”
