Major motorway CLOSED sparking travel chaos as queues form from Heathrow Airport

HOLIDAYMAKERS have been hit with travel chaos after cops shut a major motorway.

A stretch of the M4 has been closed due to an "ongoing police incident".

The road has been blocked eastbound at junction 3 Heston.

Queues are already forming before Junction 4 as travellers struggle to get to Heathrow Airport.

A National Highways South-East spokesperson said: "Following an incident recently, road is closed within J3 for Met Police investigation work.

"Road expected to be closed until approximately 9am. Divert off and on. 30 min delay."
