NTA Awards 2024 LIVE — Strictly bosses sweat on vote results after scandal as BGT and Bake Off bid to steal crown

THE great and good of TV are gearing up for the National Television Awards 2024.

The awards ceremony will be held tonight at London's O2 Arena, with the audience being a mix of celebrities and viewers.

The special event is due to kick off at 8pm.

This will be the 29th NTAs to take place.

The Masked Singer UK host Joel Dommett returns for his fourth year in a row.

The popular presenter replaced comedian David Walliams back in 2021.

Speaking about presenting the show again, he told The Sun: “The lead up to it is almost harder than the night itself.

"As soon as they press record, that's when I relax.

"Whether it goes wrong or right, it's just happening.

"The preparation is the difficult thing, to get the script right, get all the production right, that's such a big operation.

"So, honestly, as soon as they go: ‘And we're live!’ I'm like: ‘Ahh, just enjoy it now.’"

  • How can I vote for my favourite show?

Nominees for The National Television Awards 2024 could be found on nationaltvawards.com but slammed shut at midday today.

There were 15 categories for the public to choose from, including Best Soap and Best Drama.

All votes cast during this round will be added to those received in the first round of voting.

The results will be revealed live at the NTAs on the night.

Ant and Dec hold the record for winning the most NTAs, with a whopping 45 in the bag.
