A BEAUTY enthusiast has revealed a must-try hack to easily find discounted name brand products in Dollar Tree.
She was able to buy multiple popular makeup brands at an affordable price using the tip.
Kimberlymichbeauty (@kimnuzzolo) has garnered over 81,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares budget-friendly shopping hauls.
She took to the social media platform to respond to a comment posted underneath one of her previous videos.
The comment read: “Always keep your eye out for those black and white packages at the dollar stores! It’s products that they made too many of so the manufacturer gives it.”
Kimberly went to her local Dollar Tree to test the theory and was amazed by the products they had on the shelves.
“This comment is not wrong,” she said. “It’s actually so true, you want to look out for these black and white packages at Dollar Tree.
“It is name brand makeup just packaged up for Dollar Tree stores.
“I found Wet N Wild, Rimmel. This is a huge tip that you need to be using.”
She bought a Wet N Wild glitter eyeliner which can cost up to $5 on Amazon, where it is sold in several different colors.
Kimberly also purchased a Rimmel jelly blush, which costs $8 on the brand’s website and has been highly rated by customers.
She repeated the tip in the caption of her post as she encouraged her followers to buy the products for themselves.
“GUYS HUGE HUGE [fire] tip right here!! How to EASILY spot and find name brand makeup at @DollarTree… look out for the black and white packages hanging up!!” she wrote.
Over 184,000 people liked the video and were grateful for the advice.
Many people took to the comment section admitting they had previously struggled to find what they were looking for in the store.
Viewers who had successfully tried the hack were quick to share the beauty products they were impressed to have found discounted.
“I’ve gotten a few Milani lipsticks in these packages!!” one person wrote.
“I got a $30 foundation from those packages. Y’all be quieter [laughing],” another commented.
