A TRADWIFE has shared the controversial ways she 'submits' to her husband and has left many people shocked by her beliefs.

Hannahlee Yoder, shared the revelations via a video posted to her TikTok channel @hannahlee.yoder, which she often uses to share insights into her life as stay at home wife.

A tradwife (short for traditional wife) is a woman who chooses to take on an ultra traditional role in marriage, meaning she makes dinner and looks pretty whilst her husband goes to work.

The trend takes inspiration from the idea of a 1950s housewife and many tradwives choose to dress in the style of clothing popular in this period ( think floral dresses and frumpy cardigans).

Additionally, the values considered important to tradwvies are similar to strict Christian values.

Tradwifes state that they are not forced into this way of life, and believe that it is their purpose to be homemakers.

In the video Hannahlee and her family can be seen laughing and joking on their farm, whilst 1950s music plays in the background.

Next to each of the rules Hannahlee has for her marriage is a bible verse which relates to the rule.

Her first rule is: "I let him be the leader of the household- I do not usurp his authority."

The controversial rule that the tradwife lives by is: "I trust his ability to provide for our household."

Next on her list is: "I do not complain about my husband to anyone that will listen."

The fourth rule on Hannahlee's list is: "I protect my husband's heart by not broadcasting his shortcomings".

Her next rule is: "I teach the children to mirror my example, in obedience to their father."

Highlighting her religious values, the tradwife's next rule is: "We always pray for each other and strive to live for the lord."

Hannahlee's next relationship rule is one of her most controversial.

She said: "I do not withhold intimacy or weaponize it against my husband."

Her next rule, which perhaps many will find strange is: "Out of mutual respect, we keep our disagreements and spats among the family. In public, we are a united front."

Her final rule, which is perhaps the most controversial of all is: "Divorce is not an option, or ever threatened."

The video is sure to have left many open mouthed as it has racked up an impressive 200,000 views.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Hannahlee's controversial marriage.

Many people shared concern for her relationship.

One user said: "This is the female side of the Andrew Tate coin. Extremist propaganda aimed at young women."

Another user said: “Divorce is not an option, kind of scares me."

However, some people were supportive of the marriage.

One user said: "I praise you for staying biblical. Lucky man, I pray the lord finds me a woman like you."
