Parents are rushing to snap up Iceland’s £1 food range and say it’s a lifesaver for families on a budget
PARENTS are raving about Iceland’s £1 food range, which is perfect for those feeding families on a budget.
From lasagnes and pizza to mac and cheese, there are numerous Iceland freezer meals that could feed adults and kids.
One parent took to Facebook this week, saying: “Iceland has a new £1 range.
“I hope this is helpful to those who are on a budget.”
They uploaded photos from the supermarket chain, showing how the offer includes chicken nuggets, lasagne and mac and cheese.
These are part of their “£1 frozen easy tea solutions”, along with the likes of cottage pie, sweet and sour chicken, pizza, toad in the hole, and many more.

There are also bags of hash browns, potato pops and fish cakes in the purse-friendly deal.
Thousands of parents liked the post and hailed the items as being a “lifesaver” in the cost of living crisis.
One wrote: “This is actually a lifesaver for some adults and kids , there’s been days on end where I haven’t been able to eat a decent meal but my child will always!
“Stuff like this means mums and kids can at least have a hot meal rather then going hungry, even if some of you think it’s cr*p that’s a decent meal to others.”
Another added: “Certainly helped me and my family, I just put homemade chips/mash and veggies with whatever it is we're having, as long as the kiddies are fed that's my main priority.”
However, some people were too sure about it, with one writing: “Probably not the healthiest.”
The original poster replied to any criticism, saying: “There seems to be a lot of negativity within the comments, please remember what group this is and that it costs nothing to be kind.”
Customers can find the value range products on the dedicated page on the Iceland website when browsing online.
Availability of the £1 products is dependent on in-store and online stock.
