The female bodybuilder was dubbed "Kendall Jenner on steroids" after gaining popularity online.

She has become an internet sensation for having "the face of Kendall Jenner and the physique of Arnold Schwarzenegger".

In a podcast First Things THRST on YouTube, Vladislava got candid about her fitness journey and openly admitted to taking steroids.

The female bodybuilder then shared the horrible aftermath she suffered on her health and body after taking performance-enhancing drugs (PED).

She said: "I thought that I would take it and I will be the next Olympia."

"When you take them, you get used to being driven and motivated," Vladislava added.

But the drugs left their mark on her physical appearance apart from "bulking up".

Vladislava retained water in her face and struggled with acne.

But the hair loss turned out to be the worst side effect for the internet beauty who used to pride herself for having long, luscious hair.

Vladislava ended up losing 50 per cent of her hair, and it took her four years to grow back.

She has admitted that her experience was horrible because of the coach who pushed her to take more steroids.

Only 20-year-old at the time and new to the scene of bodybuilding, the naive woman trusted her first mentor.

One of the steroids she used to take was testosterone - a primary male sex hormone.

Despite being on PEDs, the fans mentioned that the bodybuilder retained her feminine beauty and praised her looks.

People have also pointed out that her voice stayed the same while other female bodybuilders develop deeper tone once on steroids.

Vladislava has openly admitted that many people take steroids for bodybuilding competitions, and she is not an exception.

She said: "If you want to do the competitions, you have to take PED."

But she regularly takes breaks between taking steroids when not competing.

"PEDs won’t make you the next Olympia champion.

"It takes a lot more to get to a pro level physique. It takes time, consistency, pushing through even at your worst mental state, fatigue and hunger.

"Though I must say, I enjoy my physique now when I’m off. The only things stayed are: hard work, discipline and hunger… but hunger for improvement," she wrote in an Instagram post.

One disappointed fan replied: "So sad knowing she's not natural but full of punctures with steroids and hormones to help her to grow her muscles."

But others have praised Vladislava's honesty and found it refreshing.

One person wrote: "At least she’s open and honest about it where so many gymfluencers act like their natty [natural]."

Another user added: "I love her even more for her transparency. This is what the industry needs more of."

UKAD, the organisation responsible for protecting UK sports from doping, believes more than a million people are using anabolic steroids, a synthetic testosterone that sees users quickly “bulk up” and improve their athletic performance.
