My laundry hack stops your fitted sheets from turning into a burrito full of wet clothes in the dryer – you’ll be amazed
A LAUNDRY lover has shared a hack to ensure your bedsheets dry perfectly every time you launder them.
The trick prevents sheets from forming a damp "burrito" in the dryer, which stops them from drying - and it works every time.
Stephanie Booth (@stephanieboothhome) shares cleaning, organization, and lifestyle videos with her 297,000 TikTok followers.
In a recent clip, she revealed her hack for drying fitted sheets.
"My hack prevents the giant, wet bedsheet dryer burrito and gets your bedsheets nice and dry quickly with fewer wrinkles," Stephanie said.
Her secret involved a special way of folding a fitted sheet using the corners.
"Find the top two corners and turn one inside out before tucking it into the other corner, then do the same with the opposite end of the sheet," the influencer said.
"This will give you one left and one right side corner. Flip the right side over the left so all four corners are nestled together before folding it two more times into a stack."
"Folding your sheets prevents the burrito effect," Stephanie said.
She folded her top sheet and shook out each pillowcase before running the dryer.
The cleaning enthusiast said that viewers should "prepare to be amazed," when opening their dryers.
"There's no burrito and everything's totally dry," she said, after checking her sheets.
