Mum gets blasted for giving her daughter a ‘stupid name’ after she asks others for help when daughter is being bullied
A MUM has sparked fury after revealing her daughter's ''stupid'' moniker, which has led to bullying at school.
Picking a name for your child is one of the most important decisions parents will make - and here, one of the main things to consider is finding a moniker that will make them feel special, rather than getting picked on amongst peers.
But now one mum has been criticised after revealing her daughter's name, adding that the child is being bullied for it.
Taking to Reddit, the parent said: "She's been coming home from school and saying kids are making fun of her name."
The anonymous woman decided to pick a rather unique name for her daughter and ended up calling her Blayzee.
But according to the mother, the seven-year is coming home from school and reporting that other kids are making fun of her name.

"My seven year old's name is Blayzee and recently she's been coming home from school and saying kids are making fun of her name.
It's an awful name, so you need to allow your child to choose a real name now

''She even said her best friend said her mum must have been young when I named her."
The post soon took the platform by storm - but rather that shaming the bullies, many Reddit users blasted the mum for giving her kid a name which they reckoned was ''stupid''.
"Don't give you kids stupid name for the sake of being 'special'," said one.
The person added: "It's terrible when kids are teased. As a mum you need to own your mistake."
Someone else chimed in: "Odd names are isolating for a child. You thought it was cute but others can't spell it, remember it or understand it's pronunciation.
''So how does anyone be-friend your child with this huge barrier to forming a friendship?
"Did you name her this for you or for her? Because it's not working for her."
Another wrote: "It's an awful name, so you need to allow your child to choose a real name now."
