This is the ‘grimmest bath bomb I’ve ever tried’ says Lush fan after testing out the brand’s new Shrek inspired range

A HOT BATH can be a great way to unwind after a long day, especially if you add some essential oils or your favourite bath bomb.

Rather than enjoying a relaxing soak though, one woman was horrified after trying the 'grimmest bath bomb' ever - which even had 'moss' inside of it.

If you are a fan of Lush, you've probably seen the brand's new Shrek-inspired range.

Based on the beloved film franchise, there are various themed products for fans to try including a Gingy bath bomb (£7.50), a Shrek face pack (Mask of Magnaminty £10) and even a Fiona shower gel (£10).

For those that aren't already sold, there's also a Donkey bath bomb (£6) which reportedly has a sugary waffle scent as it releases blue and white swirls into your bath.

However, one item is already trending on TikTok: the Shrek Swamp Bath Bomb (£8).

As the name suggests this bathtime treat is inspired by the ogre's home, with the signature 's' logo in shades of neon-green and brown.

Rather than having an on theme musky smell though, users state that the bath bomb has a chocolate-minty scent as it gently dissolves in warm water.

Despite the hype surrounding Lush's latest release, some fans have been unimpressed with the bath bomb.

After uploading a video to TikTok, influencer @thelushconnoisseur revealed that the Lush item turned her bath into a literal swamp.

Showing the bath bomb dissolving, she claimed that it was the 'grimmest' bath bomb she'd ever tried from Lush as it dyed the water green and left bits of 'moss' in her bath.

The TikTok user even held the fizzing bath bomb up to the camera, showing the large moss clump that was at the centre of the product and said it looked like 'worms'.

Even more alarmingly, she then showed the grainy 'dirt' that was left at the sides of her bath after using the cartoon character-inspired item.

In the caption, she complained: "It actually made the sides of my bath look so dirty."

She then showed the debris left behind in her bath, which she had to wipe away with a paper towel afterwards.

Whilst it might not look all that pampering, the product description says that the bath bomb has Japanese oakmoss, seaweed and rhassoul mud - which are meant to soften the skin.

Though the content creator did agree that her skin felt 'lovely' after using the bath bomb, she admitted that it was all a bit 'too much'.

"It all got a bit too much for the Shrek," she joked, adding: "If you want to pretend you are an ogre then this one is for you but I genuinely did have to get outta my swamp."
