West Ham vs Liverpool LIVE SCORE: Premier League clash on NOW as Reds look to extend lead at top of the table – latest

  • West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

    12. Liverpool are looking the most likely to score here.

They are making runs into the channels and more often than not, the passes are finding these players.

The Reds slick passing is opening up The Hammers at will.

  • West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

    10. Gakpo is causing all sorts of problems for The Hammers.

Liverpool force a corner and Gomez's near post flick strikes Kilman and goes out for another set-piece.

However, a goal kick is awarded, not that we should be surprised the Premier League has the most incompetent officials in the world.

  • West Ham 0-0 Liverpool

    5. Bold claim but Liverpool really need to find a left-back in the January trannsfer window.

Once again a mistake from Robertson allows the hosts to create a fantastitc chance.

He crosses into the box but the shot at target is sliced wide and lets The Reds off the hook.

Slot's side go straight up the other end themselves but Salah misses a great chance to open the scoring but Areola makes a great stop.

BOOS rang out at full-time as sub Jorgen Strand Larsen struck with three minutes to go.

It denied Ange Postecoglou a much-needed win to relieve the pressure, with chairman Daniel Levy watching on from the stands.

To make matters worse, Rodrigo Bentancur picked up an unnecessary fifth booking of the season right at the death.

It rules him out of next week’s clash with in-form Newcastle. Had he waited until next week, the yellow-card record would have been wiped from the first 19 games of the season.

  • FT: Tottenham 2-2 Wolves

Aother big result for Vitor Pereira as he remains unbeaten since taking over as Wolves' boss.

Spurs thought they had this in the bag heading into the final few minutes of the game but it was not to be.

Based on the match stats from the game, a draw was a fair result but the hosts are now winless in five home matches.

  • Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth

It was an entertaining match in the capital.

The Cherries had pegged back the hosts but Fulham found a way ro re-take the lead.

Ouattara came to their rescue to take a point back to the south coast with them.

  • FT: Everton 0-2 Nott'm Forest

It has been a while since Toffees' fans have seen their side score at Goodison Park and for good reason.

They could do with spending some time just trying to hit the target more on the training pitch as this team shoot like stormtroopers.

Forest did the simple things well and took theiir chances, making them good value for this win.

  • FT: Crystal Palace 2-1 Southampton

The Eagles take all three points in the capital.

Glasner's side have dominated the game and should really have won this game more convincingly.

Not that it matters now but they were always open to an equaliser from the visitors and need to be more clinical in front of goal.

  • Liverpool starting XI:

Arne Slot makes just one change from their side who played Leicester on Boxing Day with Diaz coming in for Nunez.

    1. Alisson, 66. Alexander-Arnold, 4. Van Dijk, 2. Gomez, 26. Robertson, 10. Mac Allister, 17. Jones, 38. Gravenberch, 11. Salah, 7. Diaz, 18. Gakpo

  • Fulham 2-2 Bournemouth

    89. Semenyo does well in the build-up before picking out Ouattara in the middle of the box.

He drills a first time shot past Leno to silence Craven Cottage.

Late sucker punch from Andoni Iraola's side.

  • Goal - Dango Ouattara (Bournemouth)

  • Tottenham 2-2 Wolves

    87. Classic Tottenham.

With minutes remaining Strand Larsen fires off a left-footed shot from a really tight angle to equalise.

Get ready for the boos at full-time from the Spurs fans, it is about as predictable as that bugle before their games.

  • West Ham starting XI:

Lopetegui opts to play a back five for the visit of the league leaders, while Areola replaces the injured Fabianski in goal.

    23. Areola, 29. Wan-Bissaka, 5. Coufal, 26. Kilman, 15. Mavropanos, 33. Emerson, 19. Alvarez, 4. Soler, 10. Paqueta, 20. Bowen, 14. Kudus

NO WONDER David Brooks has gone off.

The Bournemouth midfielder survived a full on bulldoze from behind during a six yard box challenge from Bernd Leno.

The wiry Cherries player was severely winded as would anyone be after taking the full weight of Leno's immense frame on his back.

He got up, ready to play on but boss Andoni Iraola thought differently and took him off. He'll have backache tomorrow that lad.

Jarrad Branthwaite hasn’t looked anything like the talented central defender his club rate at £70M this season and remains a Manchester United target.

He missed the start of this campaign due to groin problems but after last season’s brilliant emergence as a top centre back he’s struggling to get back up to that level.

His clattering challenge on Morgan Gibbs-White early in the second half that could have been red but was a fortunate yellow said it all about how he’s lost his mojo.

  • Fulham 2-1 Bournemouth

    72. The Welshman has made a habit of scoring crucial goals for The Cottagers this season.

Robinson crosses into the box and Wilson heads from the middle of the goal into the top corner.

The Cherries have it all to do in this one again.

  • Goal - Harry Wilson (Fulham)

Erling Haaland spoke with Sky Sports after their win against Leicester City today and seemed to forget once again that you cannot swear on live TV.

I don't know, it is just nice to be winning again.S*** happens and you just have to get on with it. Every game is difficult and you have to work at it. Now we can rest up a bit and go again when we play.

  • FT: Leicester 0-2 Man City

Pep Guardiola will sleep a little easier tonight.

The victory was all that mattered for the visitors but they should be more worried that this match was dominated by one of the worst teams in the league.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's side missed to many chances they could not really argue if the Premier League decided to relegate them today as a result.

Wolves fans look away now - your star man has come off injured.

Matheus Cunha was replaced at half-time and then spotted with an ice pack under his left knee.

Spurs have also been forced into a substitution early in this period with Destiny Udogie doing his hamstring.

The Italian was replaced by Sergio Reguilon, making his first league appearance for Spurs since April 2022.

The City fans have been better than their team and deserve to enjoy themselves for their gallows humour.

Guardiola's players were really unconvincing for much of this game - defensively uncertain, offensively incoherent.

But they were ruthless with the chances that they had.

If Leicester had been similarly clear-headed in the penalty area, they might have got a point or even all three.

  • Everton 0-2 Nott'm Forest

    63. It is game over at Goodison Park as Forest double their lead.

Against a team with so little goal threat in them, The Toffees do not have the minerals to turn this one around.

Wood lays it into the path of Gibbs-White in the middle of the box and he drills a leeft-footed shot into the top of the net.

  • Goal - Morgan Gibbs-White (Nott'm Forest)

  • Fulham 1-1 Bournemouth

    51. Whatever Andoni Iraola said at the break seems to have worked.

Some good build up play from Hill sees him find Evanilson wide in the six yard box.

He smashes his shot into the roof of the net to draw the visitors level.
