"Spring cleaning hacks you need to know," said Mai Zimmy (@maizimmy).

It seemed her all-knowing tips were born out of necessity.

"I'm an expert to being allergic to things - I'm also an expert at removing allergens," she said.

Dust mites were definitely no match for Mai.

"Instead of having your ceiling fan sprinkle you with dust when you turn them on, get a pillowcase and slide the dust off into the case," she said.

She repeated this action on each and every blade of the fan.

For harder-to-reach spaces, she had another trick up her spring cleaning sleeve.

"I love this six-foot extendable duster with disposal dust heads. I use it on my ceiling fans and all the dirty vents around my house cause ew," she said.

One of her favorite cleaning items, the Swiffer ceiling fan duster super extender, sells for $15.16 on Amazon and has plenty of glowing reviews.

"This duster is a perfect solution for anyone with back or knee/leg issues because it reaches just about anything in your home," wrote one customer.

I use a $3 Walmart buy to clean everything from my oven to glass shower doors - it even gets rust gone

"Worked exactly as advertised. I have 15-foot vaulted ceilings and worked great to clean off my 94-inch fan without climbing up a ladder," said another purchaser.

Not even dust-collecting fabric headboards were safe from the cleaning pro as she shared her next tip.

"A quick roll with the lint roller fixes that in a jiffy," she said.

She used the roller all over her own piece of furniture until the dust had disappeared.

Her fans were also floored by how she was able to clean everything from her floors to her fans.

"That pillow case hack is actually so smart!" said one follower.

"Lint roller will work on my rug wall hanger! Great idea," said yet another viewer.

"I literally just cleaned my ceiling fan and wish I saw this first," a third watcher said.
