5v5 LIVE RESULTS: Dubois scores brutal CAREER BEST win over Hrgovic as Warren dominates 8-0 vs Hearn – updates

  • Deontay Wilder vs Zhilei Zhang NEXT

Main event of the evening coming next and another 50/50 fight.

Both men are coming off big losses and find themselves at crossroads in their careers.

Wilder was well beaten by Joseph Parker after three years out and many people are questioning if he can still do it at the top level.

Parker also beat Zhang in his last fight but that was a lot closer, with Zhang sending the New Zealander to the canvas a couple of times.

One potential X-factor is that Zhang will enter the ring 70 POUNDS heavier (that's five stone in old money).

  • Dubois vs AJ?

Well what next for Dubois after a performance like that?

It's a complicated one, to put it mildly. That fight was for the right to fight for the IBF title next, a belt which is currently held by Oleksandr Usyk.

However, the undisputed champ may be stripped of that belt while he chases a rematch with Tyson Fury.

That means Dubois might see his belt upgraded to world champion status - without fighting - or could open the door to a fight with Anthony Joshua, in September.

However, one spanner in the works is Deontay Wilder.

Turki Alalshikh is apparently desperate to see Wilder vs Joshua next and that may stop the Dubois vs AJ train.

  • 'No retreat, no surrender'

Speaking after the fight, Dubois said: "No retreat, no surrender. I had to do whatever it took, needed to come through the fire and I did that tonight.

"I needed that support from Frank Warren and my dad, they've been there the whole time and we did it."

Asked about the 5v5, Dubois added: "We're the kings, we're the daddies!"

  • Queensberry 8 Matchroom 0

It's been an absolute whitewash in the 5v5 so far - four wins out of four for Frank Warren over Eddie Hearn.

Then you add in TKO wins for Daniel Dubois and Hamzah Sheeraz (who also earned extra points as the team captain) and it's turned out to be a very poor night for Hearn.

Remember, not only has he seen four of his fighters lose, but Hearn's also lost the £3MILLION bet with longtime rival Warren.

  • Daniel Dubois BEATS Filip Hrgovic by TKO

Absolutely superb stuff from Dubois, who just put in a career best performance in Saudi Arabia.

Hrgovic certainly had the better of the early rounds but, all of a sudden, Dubois turned on the gas and went to another level.

He landed some sensational cuts and combos in that one, with Hrgovic a bloody mess by the end of that.

Dubois wobbled the Croatian a couple of times and the ref took a very close look before asking the doctor to make a decision.

Hrgovic was left with huge cuts across his face and it was waved off - Dubois may well now face Anthony Joshua next.

  • Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois (Round 8)

    Daniel Dubois wins!

Sensational performance from the Londoner and the referee waves it off due to the incredible amount of damage on Hrgovic's face.

Brilliant round for Dubois there, he's landing lovely shots and throwing good combinations.

  • Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois (Round 4)

Both fighters seem to be tiring after that hectic start.

Credit where it is due, Dubois is taking what Hrgovic has to throw at him.

The cuts to the face of the Croatian are affecting his vision as blood from above the eye is causing problems.

  • Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois (Round 3)

This is a real slugfest of a fight.

Hrgovic has caught Dubois with two big right hands on the temple.

On each occasion it rocks the British boxer.

Somehow, you cannot see this one going twelve rounds.

This is set up for a real heavyweight clash.

    It is Croatia versus Britain.

  • Filip Hrgovic vs Daniel Dubois

Next up we have a heavyweight bout.

If Dubois wins this one, so does Frank Warren and his £3m bet with Eddie Hearn.

This also offers a huge chance for both of these fighters to further their careers with a chance to fight Anthony Joshua on the line.

  • Dmitry Bivol vs Malik Zinad (Round 6)

Bivol catches Zinad with a clean punch which rocks him back on his heels.

As the true champion he is, he spots his chance to go in for the kill.

He sprays Zinad with lefts and rights catching him a flurry of headshots.

The referee steps in to stop it as Malik Zinad is not able to fight back.

  • Dmitry Bivol wins by TKO

  • Dmitry Bivol vs Malik Zinad (Round 5)

Bivol is keeping that stout defence up and running.

Zinad lands his best punch of the fight in the round but cannot follow it up to put his opponent in trouble.

He is managing to frustrate Bivol who would have wanted to put this to bed by now.

  • Dmitry Bivol vs Malik Zinad (Round 4)

Zinad has managed to come back into the fight now after being put down in the first.

This has turned into quite an even fight.

Bivol looks solid but has taken his foot off the gas a bit now.

  • Dmitry Bivol vs Malik Zinad (Round 3)

Bivol's defence is so solid, Zinad is struggling to get punches through.

  • Dmitry Bivol vs Malik Zinad (Round 2)

This is a real slugfest between the pair.

Bivol catches Zinad well on the nose, causing it to bleed.

The champion looks like someone who was preparing for some time for this evening's fight.

Both fighters let loose from the off.

Zinad makes a good start but is dropped by a left from Bivol.

  • Dmitry Bivol vs. Malik Zinad

Before the final two fights of the Hearn vs Warren grudge night, we have a little side attraction.

Malik Zinad comes in as a late replacement for the fight and now has the chance of a big upset.

He could make a real name for himself here.

  • Jack wishes his mate the best before fight

Jack Grealish was the first to send his best wishes to Hamzah Sheeraz before his bout in Riyadh.

The British boxer's victory takes him 20-0 in his pro career.

The WBC Silver middleweight belt is still his and now he is the number one contender for the full WBC title held by Carlos Adames.
