The truck, based off a Mercedes-Benz Atego Chassis, has been upgraded with all the gear needed for any adventurer.

It can happily accommodate a crew of four, with a double bed and two bunk beds, two cooking zones, and two bathrooms - including a shower.

Krug Expedition, from Schladming in Austria, already launched their project Rhino back in 2022, but their XL promises to be even better.

Buyers can choose from two family formats, with the aforementioned bunkbeds, or a professional layout - which sees the bunkbeds converted into a workspace.

Each vehicle is meticulously manufactured by the Austrian team to prepare it perfectly for your expedition.

Alongside the incredible living space in the interior of the van, it comes with a stainless steel sink, a state-of-the-art induction hob, and a fridge-freezer.

And the exterior is no less impressive.

Adding to the already robust armour of the van, is an optional roof-rack - which can be mounted onto the vehicle with LED lights.

Each Rhino XL is fitted with four R20 tyres, ready to take on any terrain.

Although it comes at a cost, as a project Rhino XL vehicle will set buyers back by $485,000 (£380,000).

In the decade the company has been in the industry, they've broken the mould and has become a leading player.

Krug expedition currently has 35 ongoing projects, of which Rhino XL is one, and they have spent the last year turning towards consumer events.

The unveiling of the Rhino XL comes just after Action Mobil launched its Globecruiser Family 7500.

The mobile bunker is fitted with six giant off-road wheels, making it a perfect getaway vehicle if you find yourself in the middle of a warzone.

It also comes with 23sq ft of living space, an electrical oven, microwave, a washer, dryer and a lift at the back to carry a motorbike - everything you need to survive a World War.

One American couple has taken matters into their own hands however, and converted five separate trucks into motorhomes.
