ITV2 reality stars in shock split – as couple row over who dumped who online

BAD Boyfriend stars Jordi Leigh, 28, and Sam Chaloner, 31, had said their union was on its last legs, after applying to the dating show to fix their bond.

But now the reality machine has had the opposite effect and they have given each other the boot as their messy split plays out on social media.

Before starring on the ITV2 show, hosted by Olivia Attwood, Jordi a gym brand owner from Manchester had told how applying for Bad Boyfriends had been her final strategy to fix their ailing union.

She said: “I think it’s the last resort because we’ve tried everything. We know we want to be together, but there are so many issues that need to be solved before taking the next step.”

Tellingly Sam confessed that he hadn’t wanted to enter the show, but after Jordi applied it was too late to back out of the process.

He said: “I’m one of them who doesn’t like speaking out, I run away from my problems and I always have done.

"I didn’t have a clue what was going on. If I knew what the show was then I probably wouldn’t have done it because I don’t like opening up."

But now that the ITV2 show has ended, the pair have opted to call time on their romance, even if they can't decide who made the decision.

Earlier today Sam shared a message on social media, he said: “Just to let you know, Jodi and me have decided to go our separate ways. I wish her all the best in life, thanks for the support.”

But then Jordi came storming in on her social media page, to say that she knew nothing about the break up.

She said: “Sam I guess your communication skills are still in progress even after the show as Sam has kindly shared with you all without speaking to me first, I have decided to end the relationship. I tried everything I could to make it work, but I refuse to ignore lies and deceit any longer.”

But then Sam hit back with: “I’ve had some vile messages, so just to clarify I have not cheated. Jordi ended the relationship so I am therefore single. We was still living together until we sorted out our arrangements. There are two sides to every story. This is the last time I will speak on this.”

The couple's denouement seems to contradict Jordi’s social media statement when the show came to an end last week, when gushed about how she'd ‘created the perfect boyfriend.”

She said: “That’s a wrap @badboyfriends.tv S1 if officially over 🥹💕 wow what an experience!! Made friends for life and created the perfect boyfriend couldn’t have done any of this without the beautiful @olivia_attwood you are literally made for this.. thanks so much for everything ♥️

A new kind of dating show, Bad Boyfriends saw eight naughty men flown to a Greek Island where they were unwittingly faced with their long-suffering spouses, who then saw them through a string of challenges to encourage commitment.

But for this couple, the show was clearly a test too far.
