I spent £320 on my daughter’s birthday party but NO-ONE came – even my dad and brother missed it, I was fuming

A MUM who splashed out £320 on her daughter's birthday party was left fuming when no-one turned up.

Anber admitted she "literally cried" when she'd set up for the cute bash, and none of the expected guests showed up.

In a video on TikTok, Anber said she was most upset with her family members who didn't attend the celebration.

"My expectation was not at all that nobody was gonna show up," she said.

"And I was literally crying hysterically that nobody showed up for my daughter when I had just confirmed with everybody that they were showing up.

"It's f**king sad, it really is. And I'm upset with my family and I feel bad for my kids.

"And again, it's not about, like, the money like that.

"I was p**sed that I spent £320 ($400) on just catering, but it really had to do with, like, I had to explain that to my older kids that understand, and why my daughter doesn't get the same treatment as the rest of my kids do.

"I don't get it."

Anber then shared another video as she answered some of the other questions she's been asked about the party, including that everybody had "RSVP'd" and she'd confirmed the "morning of" the party.

"And then nobody showed up," she continued.

"Yes, I got tons of excuses later on.

"Like, my dad did end up saying that he didn't feel well all the sudden and could not show up.

"He ended up coming to see her three weeks after her birthday, and he gave her a present."

Her brother had also said that he was coming, but his girlfriend then told Anber that he "did not wanna wake up".

"They did try to call me at midnight that night," Anber added.

Average kid's birthday cost for parents

According to a new study from the UK’s leading money-saving brand, Voucher Cloud, has revealed that over two thirds of British parents throw their children a birthday party every single year - and the costs can be high.

  • Average spend on party - £320.50
  • Average spend on presents - £175.80

"I didn't answer the call cause it's like midnight and I don't wanna hear your lame ass excuse on why you retired.

"He never tried to reach out again. It's been three weeks, haven't heard anything."

The other friends with kids that she'd invited were also "too hungover" to come.

"All I know is that people suck," she said.

"Um, that's probably why I made that really sad video of me crying and having no friends, because it shows I don't have friends and I don't have family.

" And a lot of people were thinking that it had to do with, um. Them not liking me.

"It literally has to do with my child. And it's really f**ked up, but it does, because everybody shows out for my two older boys.
