  • Who can shine up top?

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha have been putting up sensational numbers for Barcelona this season.

The pair have been putting up Ballon d'Or form this season.

However, on the opposite side of the attack, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram are looking to show their strength.

The pair have 12 Champions League goals between them, but have split the goals in Serie A.

Martinez had 12, Thuram 14, and the pair will need their shooting boots at San Siro this evening.

Barcelona's pair are supported by Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres tonight, but the massive return of Robert Lewandowski will give Barcelona a boost.

  • Midfield battle

Two monsters go head-to-head once again in the midfield for either side tonight.

The pair will represent their home countries, as well, as Pedri of Barcelona goes up against Nicolo Barella of Inter.

Pedri completed 95% of his passes last week, and won 75% of his ground duels.

Barella, in return, only completed 66% of his chances, and only won 50% of his duels, but won the same amount as Pedri, with six.

Spanish midfielder Pedri completed 66 more passes than Barella, and in his home country, Barella will need to take more control of the game to give Inter a chance of taking an edge to make it to the final.

  • A boost for Barca

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski will return to action for the Champions League semi-final second leg.

Lewandowski had missed two weeks due to an injury, but returns for Hansi Flick's side tonight.

The Polish striker has 11 goals in 12 games in the Champions League so far this season.

Unlike Barcelona, Lewandowski has won the Champions League in the 2020's, winning with Bayern Munich in the 2020 makeshift knockout tournament in Lisbon.

Of course, Bayern did not necessarily benefit from the single leg format, with Lewandowski and Co destroying Barcelona 8-2 over 90 minutes.

The German's had dominated Europe up to the pandemic, and Lewandowski's form that season meant they likely would have won either way.

But, Lamine Yamal stepped up, and scored a wonderful solo strike, before Ferran Torres put the game all square.

Dumfries scored from a corner to put Inter back ahead, before Raphinha hit a sweet strike from a corner, that ended up rattling the crossbar and going into the back of the net off the back of Yann Sommer.

  • All to play for in Milan

Welcome to SunSport’s coverage of the Champions League semi-finals.

Barcelona take on Inter in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final in Italy.

The tie is poised perfectly for a second leg thriller, with the Blaugrana having been held at home by Inter last week.

Lamine Yamal was the talk of the town following his sensational solo effort at Camp Nou, but Denzel Dumfries scored a brace for the Italians to give them a big chance here.

Inter were last in the Champions League final in 2023, but lost to Pep Guardiola’s Man City after a Rodri strike.

After not making a Champions League final since their famous win in 2010, Inter are looking for a second in three seasons.

For Barcelona, they are looking for a first final since 2015, and in tandem a first title since 2015.

With the scores tied at 3-3, anything could happen at San Siro this evening.
