On the property show, Amanda Holden, 54, and Alan Carr, 48, attempt to renovate a run-down property in Spain.

By the end of the series, they hope to completely flip the house into a luxury home.

On tonight's episode, the duo were working on the courtyard where Amanda received perturbing news.

Despite being a huge fan of the vine, unfortunately it was causing substantial structural damage to the property and it had to be cut down.

As the pair wound down at the end of the day with some Cava, they couldn't help but become reflective as they pondered the finality of life.

They both sat on fold-up camper chairs as they appreciated the picturesque fields whilst enjoying an outdoor picnic in the sunset.

"When you look at massive landscapes like this, it does put things into perspective," Amanda remarked.

"When you lose someone you believe, don't you, that they've gone somewhere.

"I'm not particularly religious but I don't believe it's the end."

Amanda gave birth to her second daughter with music producer Chris Hughes in 2012 where she almost died in childbirth.

The breakfast radio host even admitted there was a time when she was medically dead after she gave birth to Hollie, 12.

She revealed: "Without being too maudlin, I had a really difficult birth with Hollie.

"Which ended up with me in a coma, I died.

"I was in intensive care and the baby was fine, and then when I came round and everything was alright, I never stopped thinking about death after that.
