One dead & 5 injured by ‘known terror suspect’ who shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ in stabbing rampage in market in France
A HORROR stabbing rampage has left one person dead and five injured after a "known terror suspect" shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the market town attack.
The knife attack happened on Saturday afternoon in the city of Mulhouse, on the border with Germany.
The suspect reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the horror stabbing spree, according to Le Parisien and Le Figaro.
The suspect, a 37-year-old Algerian man, was reportedly known to cops and was listed on the Terrorist Radicalization Prevention Reporting File, per French media.
Terrifying images showed a swarm of police and arrested the suspect on a busy road.
One victim is said to have died after sustaining multiple stab wounds.

Three municipal police officers were attacked and injured during the shock knife attack.
Two parking attendants were also seriously injured by the attacker.
Police and ambulances swarmed the picturesque city centre after a knifeman reportedly went after several people.
An investigating source said: "The man was attending a police station to sign his judicial control form connected with his house arrest.
"He refused to do this, and instead attacked a number of people with a knife. Those hurt included at least three municipal police officers."
