I’m 60 & love showing off my body in skimpy outfits… I’m warned not to ‘break a hip’ as ‘an old bird with cracking legs’

SHE'S a 60-year-old mum-of-five who loves showing off her figure in skimpy outfits.

And despite the fact that she's doing her best to challenge negative age stereotypes, Jacqueline often finds people leaving similar comments on her social media posts.

So she decided to take to Instagram to hit back at the remarks, donning a colourful playsuit as she did so.

"You must embarrass your children," someone told Jacqueline, who's also a grandmother of three.

She's also been told that she's got "cracking legs for an old bird".

And another person warned Jacqueline to be careful not to "break a hip".

"You'd look younger if you dyed your grey hair," someone else has told her in the past, while others have told her to "dress your age".

"Shut up old woman," is one of the rudest remarks Jacqueline has been on the receiving end of.

She concluded her reel by revealing another two comments she'd had on her videos - "loves herself too much" and "look at granny trying to use social media".

In the caption, Jacqueline wrote: "‘Older’ women are visible, loud, and proud in 2023, not ashamed of our age, challenging negative age stereotypes, promoting pro age attitudes, supporting inclusion and representation, writing our own stories. championing other women and trail blazers.

"As a personal trainer, and active ageing advocate, I encourage dancing along with any movement you enjoy for healthier ageing.

"PS - Kylie Minogue is 55. Just saying!"

And the comments section was quickly filled with people weighing in on Jacqueline's video, with one writing: "If I had her legs, I'd never put anything on but a bathing suit."

"60???" another asked.

"You have more beautiful legs/thighs than me at 27!

"60 never looked so good".

"60 isn’t even that old, people need to get a grip," a third commented.

As someone else wrote: "I cannot imagine how miserable you have to be to leave a mean comment on a page that is promoting health and vitality."

"60 is not old. Geez I'm 62 and in better shape physically, mentally and emotionally than my 30 something co-workers," another agreed.

While someone else added: "I’m so sorry you got such rude comments.

"I just wanted to say that as a teenager I want to be like you when I grow up."
