Man City in huge title blow as Ederson cries for five minutes after suffering head injury in brutal collision
EDERSON was taken off in tears and anger after a sickening collision against Tottenham left Manchester City with a goalkeeping headache for the Premier League finale.
The stopper swapped agitated words with boss Pep Guardiola and hit his seat in frustration after eventually being subbed off in City's 2-0 win.
Back-up keeper Stefan Ortega had to come on for the visitors as they defended a 1-0 lead.
Ederson was caught in the face by Cristian Romero's lunge.
The Tottenham defender was quick to check on the Brazilian - as City players rushed with concerned
Ederson was cleared to carry on - but barely minutes later was replaced by Ortega.

Victory put Guardiola's men in pole position to retain their Premier League crown ahead of Arsenal on the final day.
And with Erling Haaland having slotted an opener early in the second period, the goal machine then thumped home a penalty at the start of TEN MINUTES of stoppage time.
Meanwhile, fans on social media reckon Ederson was mainly seething at the possibility of missing out on Sunday's last game - at home to West Ham.
One posted: "He wants to do the job himself."
And even though medics had cleared Ederson to play on, some viewers praised City for playing it safe.

City's triumph put City two points clear of the Gunners.
That means victory this weekend will guarantee them the title.
But if City draw, Arsenal can overhaul them with victory at home to Everton.
