Keane's Maguire apology
ROY KEANE has revealed he has apologised to Harry Maguire - and admitted he was completely wrong about the Manchester United star.
Keane said on The Overlap: Stick to Football special: “I was harsh on Harry Maguire for footballing reasons and obviously we do a lot of United matches.
“He's struggled at United, had a tough time with England – but more so club level.
“We're on about the mental health of players, and I've crossed the line with Maguire – I mocked him a little bit and it's not nice.
“I've played the game, I know how hard it is, but I'm also big enough… I bumped into Harry a few months ago and I apologised to him.
“Sometimes as pundits we get it wrong as well, but there is a point where you go, if it's personal then you're crossing the line.”

PFA blast Prem rules leading to transfers
PFA boss Maheta Molango slammed “nonsensical” Prem rules that are seeing clubs flog home-grown players to get round financial limits, writes MARTIN LIPTON.
Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton are all lining up weekend deals for youngsters that will enable them to avoid potential PSR charges.
Under current Prem rules, clubs are limited to £105m of “permitted losses” over a three-season period.
But while purchases of players will see the value of the deal “amortised” over their contract length up to five years, clubs can book the entire amount of sales made by Sunday night in this season’s accounts.
That could see a flood of last-minute deals beating completed over the weekend.
However, Molango argues that the loophole being exploited is not good for the game or for the players involved.
He said: “It's yet another good example of how players need to be at the table.
“We need to be part of those discussions, otherwise you end up introducing rules which make sense in a nice office with air conditioning, but in practice don't make any sense.”
