Big Brother legend reveals she’s landed completely different job after quitting fame to retrain and finishing studies
BIG Brother icon Chanelle Hayes has turned her back on fame and landed herself a brand new job.
Chanelle, 36, was catapulted to stardom when she took part in the 2007 series of Big Brother and went on to earn a successful living off the back of it.
But now a mum-of-two and in her 30s, Chanelle has decided the fame game is no longer for her.
She has retrained as a nurse and has revealed to fans that she has landed her very first job ready for when she graduates.
Chanelle has told her followers that she will be working in a hospital but she has decided to keep the location private.
In a Q&A with fans, she said: "I already have my job lined up!!! I cannot wait!!"

She added: "I will be hospital based. But I keep my work location private because it's not really about me, it's about the patients and their wellbeing."
Chanelle also revealed how "tough" her studying had been while giving advice to a Health Care Assistant who is hoping to train to be a nurse, too.
"It's reeeeeeaaaally tough but you're already doing the hours and have personal care experience so that's a great advantage," Chanelle explained.
"If you were to find a supportive uni, then follow your dreams.
"It's 3 longggg years. But they'll be worth it."
Chanelle was just 19 years old when she entered the Big Brother house.
She was instantly compared to Victoria Beckham - aka Posh Spice - and soon became a favourite among fans.
During her time in the house, she fell for her fellow housemate Ziggy Lichman and they had a whirlwind romance.
Their relationship briefly continued outside of the house and they were labelled the 'Posh and Becks' of reality TV.
However, six months later they decided to call it a day.
Chanelle, who has lost a staggering nine stone following weight loss surgery, told The Sun Online in 2020 that she was still in touch with Ziggy.
She also admitted that she often makes a joke when someone recognises her from Big Brother.
"Sometimes people say 'you look familiar' and I make a joke and go, 'It'll be Crimewatch, you'll have seen me on Crimewatch'," she said.
"I look like I've eaten my former self so hopefully no one will recognise me - it's the perfect disguise."
Last year, Chanelle - who is due to marry her fiancé Dan Bingham - reflected on her stint in Big Brother when the show was rebooted for ITV.
Alongside a montage of her time in the house, Chanelle said on Instagram: "The show that took my life in a completely different direction to what I expected.
"Not many people get to watch themselves and see what an utter fool they are and can use it to become a better person… I am so grateful that Big Brother allowed me to do this.
"I had my highs, my lows, and everything in between. Did it hurt like hell? Yes. Was it traumatic and unimaginable? Absolutely. But would I change it for the world? Of course not."
She continued: "If my life hadn’t taken that path I would probably still be a bratty, spoiled, fame-seeking, unaware, needy person.
"I wouldn’t have my two amazing sons and a beautiful stepdaughter. I wouldn't be about to get married next year to the love of my life (who got dealt a much better hand than poor ziggy!!).

"And I wouldn’t have learned how to reflect on myself to be a better person who wants to help touch the lives of others nowhere near a tv screen, but in a hospital setting as a nurse.
'You can say a lot of things about me and my life, but it’s never been boring."
