This Morning star accused of ‘looking SO bored’ as Ferne McCann talks about new Dancing On Ice series
THIS Morning fans were left baffled by Dermot O'Leary's "bored" reaction during his interview with Ferne McCann.
Reality star Ferne, who is competing on this series of Dancing On Ice, appeared on the ITV show to discuss her skating journey so far.
The former Towie star, 34, who is partnered with Brendyn Hatfield, spoke about a skating injury she suffered when she was a child - as she denied having past skating experience.
Ferne admitted plenty of safeguards are put in place to protect herself - but added: "I hope and pray it will all be alright on Sunday."
But during the chat, some viewers were left distracted and accused co-host Dermot, 51, of "switching off" with some of his responses and when he leaned back on the sofa and was seen stretching.
One wrote: "The big sigh and stretching had me," with a laughing emoji.

A second said: "The stretch, the 'yeah lovely and just have a nice time'. haha I can't cope."
A third commented: "The sighing and stretching was crazy work."
"Don't blame him, I switched off too what nonsense are they even talking about. Bore," a fourth posted.
This viewer cheekily said: "Dermot acting the way we're all thinking. She'd cure my insomnia in five minutes."
Someone else posted: "This is perfect, he's obviously met her before. 'yeah lovely'."
Another added: "I’ve been SAYING THIS, he looks absolutely miserable in this job every time I tune in."
Ferne also discussed how was approached by bosses last year for the show, but turned it down.
Discussing why she agreed to do the show this year, Ferne said: "It was the perfect time with finishing my reality show at the end of the year last year and just to go onto such a fantastic production.
"It's such a fantastic show, it's magical."
She went on to say: "I genuinely can't believe it, the progression is crazy.
"I started off now being able to ice skate whatsoever and feeling really frustrated because I was like 'how am I ever going to get this?'
"I really just had to surrender and trust the process."
It comes after Ferne fought back tears as daughter Sunday watched her make her Dancing on Ice debut.
Last night saw the return of the ITV skating show, with a whole new batch of celebrities ready to take to the ice.
Former Towie star Ferne, 34, was the second star of the night to perform.
She skated with her pro partner Brendyn to Lily Allen's song, Somewhere Only We Know.
Ferne made it through without any trips or stumbles and the panel praised her debut, scoring her a respectable 26.5.
But as they spoke, host Stephen Mulhern noted that Ferne was emotional and fighting back tears.
She said: "I feel really emotional, I've got tiny tears. I'm just so happy, I really enjoyed it."
Ferne admitted she was struggling to keep it together before Stephen pointed out her daughter Sunday, six, was in the audience watching.
She replied: "I was trying not to look at her because I think that was making me well up even more.
"Aww I'm fighting back the tears I'm so happy."
Viewers were impressed by her debut, with one writing on X: "Ferne's routine was beautiful."
Another added: "It was a beautiful skate but it's always the female contestants that cling to their partners. I know it's only the first week, but Ferne needs to let go of Brendyn."
A third tweeted: "Ferne was good but with more practice and confidence she'll be doing great."
Ahead of the series launch, Ferne spoke about how training for the show had transformed her body.
Speaking to The Sun, Ferne said: “You’re constantly in this little squat position, so everyone talks about the ice skating bum!
