Me and my partner both earn six-figures but I refuse to pay for rent or date night – my money is for Chanel instead
A WOMAN has revealed why she never pays for rent, bills or date nights with her partner despite earning six figures.
Hannah Chan, from London, and Ed Reay, 22, may both be in the top percentile of earners - but that doesn't mean their money is split evenly.
Hannah, 28, revealed they may be a model couple but they both follow a traditional set up in the way her partner provides for her financially while she takes care of the home.
She explained to Truly: "I think it's important that a man always tries to provide within his financial means.
"It's not about the money benefit, it's about the mindset of a man who tries to take care of his woman."
While Ed is busy running his business to make ends meet - Hannah is saving her money to spend on herself.

In a TikTok clip, she revealed how much she spend in a day which included splurging over £4,000 on Chanel and Dior.
"I just wanted to treat myself this month," she said.
Hannah explained that the pair's agreement works for everyone as she takes care of cleaning the house, cooking and looking after her man.
"A man should always try to provide and protect within his means, and the woman should bring the soft, nurturing side into the relationship," she added.
One of her favourite ways to pay Ed back is by keeping him relaxed while he works with face massages.
The couple met on Facebook and within two weeks of talking were a couple.
While the couple seem adamant it works for them, trolls have slammed Hannah as a 'lazy gold digger,' or that she's manipulating Ed.
Hitting back at the haters, she said: "There is no shame in having financial standards for a man.
"It doesn't mean you're a gold digger, it just means your a responsible woman with standards."
Hannah who owns a six-figure business as well as having a large following on social media may make her own money but she doesn't have to spend it.
People who watched the clip were left divided by the couples relationship.
One wrote: "She’s not a lazy gold digger, just selfish. What’s hers is hers and what’s his is hers lol. Whatever works for y’all tho I suppose."
A second commented: "There isn't anything wrong with the situation. So long as both parties are ok with the terms, not everyone's cup of tea but to each their own."
"I would be more understanding if they were married and all of her income was going to investments, savings, and retirement.," penned a third.
