AMANDA Holden fought back tears as she opened up about her children leaving home.

The 53-year-old shares daughters Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 11, with husband Chris Hughes.

And it seems Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda is already dreading the day the girls fly the nest.

Speaking on Amanda and Alan's Italian Job, she told co-star Alan Carr: "When your children, when they leave home, you only spend a year of your life with them ever again.

"They say you have 18 summers and then you're lucky to see them."

The radio presenter was seen getting emotional during the honest moment with Alan, 47.

She added: "It's so terrible because you wish so much of it away when you're a busy parent... and then you turn around and they're not even there."

Amanda shared the clip on Instagram and told her followers: "Time flies. Enjoy it."

But Amanda shouldn't worry too much as we previously revealed she'll be spending a lot of time with eldest daughter Lexi when she leaves home.

Lexi previously signed a modelling contract with Storm Management – the agency that helped make legendary British fashion model Kate Moss a star, and Amanda is on hand to manage her promising career.

Insiders are tipping that Lexi could be set to net as much as £1million in her first 12 months thanks to her mum's star profile.

A source told The Sun: "Amanda has been in the industry for years and knows exactly what she is doing.

"She's business savvy in her own right so with Storm on board it's the dream combo.

"The plan is for Lexi to meet with a number of heavyweights of the next few years and make a name for herself."

And it's not likely Lexi and Hollie will be running to move out after Amanda showed off their new £7m mansion in Cobham, Surrey - which is described as the "Beverly Hills of the UK".
