Hong Kong police hunt hit-and-run driver after woman pedestrian suffers serious injuries
Hong Kong police have launched a manhunt for a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car on Thursday night.
The injured woman, said to be in her 50s, was unconscious and rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital.

The driver of a white car, identified as male and aged in his 20s, was said to have earlier been parked illegally in Castle Peak Road, Kowloon, near the Garden Company bakery at about 7.20pm and ordered to move by police.
The driver sped off and later struck the woman, who is in her 50s, on the same road after he hit two other cars.

He failed to stop at the scene and collided with a third car at the junction of Un Chau Street and Yen Chow Street. The driver of the other car escaped with minor injuries.
The driver also hit a taxi at the junction with Kiu Kiang Street before he abandoned the car and fled on foot.
Officers from the Sham Shui Po district investigation team are leading the inquiry.
