Ryan Thomas reveals he suffered hidden injury for five months during Dancing On Ice as he goes for MRI
RYAN Thomas has revealed that he suffered from hidden injury for five months whilst he competed on Dancing On Ice.
It seems that the former Coronation Street star had to battle through weeks of injury before he was crowned the winner of the ITV skating competition.
Ryan, 39, took to his Instagram story where he was sitting in the local clinic, waiting for hours to be seen in the hospital.
He captioned the short clip: "2hs later still.
"Sat here waiting for MRI scan."
He later opened up more on his condition as he posted a victorious image.

The snap showed the moment he lifted the Dancing On Ice trophy, whilst his partner, Amani Fancy clutched onto his shoulder.
His caption read: "This was the moment @amanifancy was saying thank you to my bad shoulder for lifting her above my head for the last 5 months 😂."
Ryan later showed another quick clip of the huge contraption in hospital he would be laying in as he got his anticipated scan.
This is after the actor scooped the title in the nail-biting ITV live final where he beat out the likes of Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, 45, and Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, 28.
But he had to battle through pain to do so, in Musicals Week, Ryan previously suffered a nasty fall as he smashed onto the ice.
He was also was forced to apologise after dropping partner Amani the week prior.
It was previously revealed that Ryan was suffering from inflation on his shoulder called a bursa.
Bursae are fluid-filled sacs or saclike cavities, that can develop on one countering friction at a joint.
These are usually located in between the bone and the surrounding soft tissue or tendons.
