Zelensky 'ready to work under Trump'
Zelensky says he is ready to work "under Donald Trump" and "regrets" his brutal Oval Office row with the President - but stopped short of an apology.
Zelensky said on Tuesday afternoon in an X post that he is willing to work "under President Trump's strong leadership to get a peace that lasts".
The Ukrainian president said in the bombshell X post that "none of us wants an endless war" and that "Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer."
Moldova and Romania could be next targets if Putin isn't stopped, says Macron
Emanuel Macron has warned Ukraine against signing a peace deal without security guarantees, adding that "geostrategic deterrence capacity with regard to Russia, China and others, would vanish the same day ."
The French president said that Russia's aggression could spread to Moldova and Romania if Putin's full-scare war is not stopped in Ukraine.
Starmer and Macron working to mediate Trump-Zelensky relations
Keir Starmer and Emanuel Macron scrambled to pacify the relations between Trump and Zelensky after a disastrous meeting last week.
Macron spoke with both presidents privately because "what's at stake is too important".
The French leader told La Tribune Dimanche: "The manifest destiny of the Americans is to be on the side of the Ukrainians, I have no doubt about it. What the United States has done over the past three years is entirely consistent with its diplomatic and military tradition.
"I want to make the Americans understand that disengagement from Ukraine is not in their interest."
