Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ next character to be killed off as they ‘pay the price for playing with fire’
CORONATION Street fans are convinced that they have worked out the next character to be killed off.
Eagle-eyed viewers of the popular show have made the prediction that things won't end well for embattled Ed Bailey following his latest poor decision.
The so-called family man has been on a path of betrayal and destruction as of late as a result of his gambling problem.
Having confessed to a relapse after being caught out for selling all the family's Christmas presents, Ed's family have been left raging with son Micheal insisting he wants nothing to do with his father over his actions.
Daughter Dee-Dee agreed to support him but now it seems her patience is set to be broken once and for all after Ed's latest stunt.
On Wednesday's edition of Coronation Street, fans watched on as Ed discussed future business plans with Damon Hay.

Damon had asked Ed if he wanted to do the building and renovation work on a new bar project that he had invested in.
Insisting the bar was owned by a close friend, he assured Ed that he thought he was the right man for the job despite the builder planning to sell off his yard.
When he told Dee Dee about his plans to team up with Damon, she was left furious as she warned her father off as a result of his awful reputation.
She pleaded with her dad that he would be up to no good as a result of his dodgy dealings.
It led Ed to reconsider but as he went to tell Damon it was all off, the charming criminal managed to win him around and convince him to take the job.
Now Corrie fans think it will all end in tears and Ed could find himself being brutally killed after getting caught up in Damon's ways.
One fan speculated on X - formerly Twitter: "Ed rips of Damon, gets killed, is that going to be it?"
Another added: "Ed could be playing with fire agreeing to this deal with Damon. He's not to be trusted."
As a third went onto say: "Dee Dee is right Ed - remember she went out with Damon at one point so she knows what he is capable of."
We know that Damon is facing pressure from his brother Harvey in prison to partake in a robbery.
Could this all be linked and be the cause of Ed's downfall?
