One ex-Pandora employee, named Emma Jenkins, from Australia, revealed what it was really like working for the jewellery shop.

Posting on social media, Emma recreated her first day working for the chain.

As Emma approached her new manager, she was met with: “You need to take all of those earrings out. You can only have one in your ear, and it has to be Pandora.”

However, Emma then explained: “I actually just got this out, so I can’t take it out. I can try and hide it with my hair.”

But her new manager wasn’t at all pleased, and replied: “That’s not my problem hun, that’s the rules.

“You can’t wear nothing. It looks bad. It doesn’t promote the company very well if you’re not wearing any earrings.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @emmajenkinsx, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has amassed 76,800 likes.

Many ex-Pandora employees took to the comments to respond to Emma’s claims.

One user wrote: “This is so accurate - I used to work there lol.”

Whilst a second chimed in: “You literally could not wear any other jewellery. I went more broke working there than I did when I wasn’t working.”

Not only this, but another woman took to social media, to explore the perks of working for the chain.

Posting under the username @getgigl, the brunette beauty said: “As requested, let's talk Pandora's employee packs.

“First things first. All staff get a generous 55% discount across all product lines.

“Also, staff also have the chance of getting performance based bonuses.

“Pay is also supposed to be really good, being well above minimum wage and also combined with the bonuses, it's just delicious.

“All staff also get a seasonal uniform allowance.”

To this, ex-Pandora workers shared their thoughts in the comments.

One person said: “I used to work here and LOVED it! Great pay, lovely management & flexible work (I worked there whilst at uni!).”

Another added: “It’s £9.50 an hour.”

A third commented: “Worked in Pandora - got paid £9.50 at 18 years old.”

Whilst someone else claimed: “Just applied and says on job info for a year you receive £500 a year for uniform.”

At the same time, another user penned: “We do have gift cards and prizes that we can win sometimes! It really is the best job.”

But this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about working for the chain.

Ellie Burnett, who is from Northamptonshire and worked in Pandora for a year from July 2017 to July 2018, previously revealed all about her time working for the jewellery store.

The now analytics executive went viral online after sharing her experience working in the jewellery shop.

Ellie said: “Working at Pandora was a great opportunity to make friends with girls my own age as it was a predominantly female environment.

“The job also offered a good rate of pay for reasonably flexible hours.”

From her experience working for Pandora, Ellie revealed the best sales were always available at Christmas.

She said this is because Pandora is the "go to" place for women’s presents - so it’s the best time to get bargains and good deals on jewellery.

She also shared her tips for customers looking to get bargains, as she advised: “Keep an eye on seasonal promotions.

“These can sometimes combine different purchases for reduced prices or offer a free item for purchases over a certain amount.

“When I was employed by Pandora, there were very limited discounts apart from discounts for employees and employees' family members.”

Ellie also revealed the ‘free cleaning’ service that some of the Pandora stores reportedly offer, completely depends on which store you visit.

Not only this, but she then opened up about the employees’ uniform expectations, as she shared: “It is specified that Pandora workers can’t wear anything but Pandora jewellery apart from your wedding ring.

“You can also only wear black unbranded clothing and shoes and employees are expected to look presentable at all times.
