And it seems to have paid off as the couple found and purchased a home for just £28,388 ($36,000).

Taking to TikTok, the couple revealed that they were met with disapproval over their choice.

Instead of opting for a normal home, which they couldn't quite afford they decided to purchase a small mobile home instead.

Here is to not throwing away money on rent every month.

"Ewww y'all bought a mobile home," "Those aren't modern," and "Those are Trashy" were just a few.

But the couple proved the haters wrong and renovated the house after buying it on Facebook Marketplace.

"POV you found your first home on Facebook Marketplace," they wrote in one clip as they showed off the small white panelled house they now call home.

The bargain price was too good to resist and it meant the couple didn't have to waste their hard earned money on rent every month.

Although the house wasn't quite up to their standards, the couple quickly began transforming it.

The dark brown kitchen was given a budget makeover as Bri added stick on tiles to the walls and they painted the wood work white to get some more light in.

The pair also painted the living area white instead of keeping the magnolia walls and added black panelling for a more sophisticated look.

To personalise the space, Bri and Luke added some pictures of themselves and their puppy to the walls.

"Still a work in progress, but here is to not throwing away money on rent every month," they captioned the clip.

And the pair revealed they have made a tonne of memories in their house, even getting pregnant with their first child.

The clips posted to their TikTok account @briandlukee have since gone viral with over 8million views.

People were quick to congratulate the couple on their home and told them to ignore the haters who judged them for getting a mobile home.

One person wrote: "I'm happy for you. While they saying so much about your mobile home, your saving more. Keep us updated."

Another commented: "A home is a HOME. Doesn't matter what kind it is."

"Some mobile homes are absolutely gorgeous! Great job renovating!" penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "People judge but live with parent or in apartment. Your home is beautiful and it's all yours congratulations."

"The fact that y'all have YOUR OWN place is a milestone in itself.,” claimed a fifth.
