‘It’s the perfect transitional piece’ gush shoppers as they spot £22 dress in Sainsbury’s and the colour screams spring

THE spring collection in Sainsbury's has been blooming with colour - and shoppers can't get enough of an "absolutely stunning" red dress.

Last month fashionistas hailed the supermarket for releasing a "comfy and flattering" striped co-ord for £26 which sold out almost instantly.

And now, they're frantically racing to their nearest store to check the rails for a £22 crinkle tie-waist midi dress.

The Tu Clothing piece comes in sizes 6-26 and the warm red, burnt orange colour is perfect for spring and summer.

Supermarket bosses said: "Tu Clothing bosses say: "Make a bold statement in our red crinkle dress.

"In a flattering midi length, it features a tie-waist belt designed to accentuate your figure."

Trying it on in a size 20, plus-sized fashionista Poppy Adams (@poppyadams92) gushed: "How lovely is this though?

"I love this colour. I think this is such a lovely transitional piece.

"Really lovely lightweight fabric [and] it’s a size 20.

"I tend to size down in their dresses because I actually think they’re pretty generous."

Other shoppers have also been racing to their nearest store to get their hands on the red-hot dress.

One gushed: "I’ve been looking for this style of dress for years! Lovely vibrant colour and good fit."

A second added: "Love the red dress, I’m going to buy that one."

"That red dress is fire", chimed in a third.

Someone else wrote: "Absolutely stunning. Brb off to Sainsbury's."

Meanwhile, a fifth echoed: "Going to Sainsbury’s asap."
