Fast food chain slashes ice creams to just 99p to rival McDonald’s McFlurry
A FAST food chain has slashed its ice creams to 99p to rival the famous McDonald's McFlurry.
Popeyes customers can grab the unbelievably cheap sweet treat this week - but hurry before the deal ends.
The New Orleans-born brand have advertised their Whipz ice cream as just 99p this week - with the originally price being £2.99.
Popeyes said: "The August heatwave means one thing only.
"It’s time for Whipz. Grab yours for 99p this week."
The Whipz ice cream comes in numerous delicious flavours including vanilla, chocolate, Oreo and Biscoff.

In stark comparison, a mini McDonald's standard McFlurry like Smarties, Maltesers or Oreo currently retails at £1.29 - but this may differ depending on your location.
The 99p Whipz deal at Popeyes is available until Sunday 18th August - so get one while you can.
You can grab one at any UK Popeyes restaurant or drive thru when you order any regular Whipz online or in the restaurant, reports say.
Popeyes entered the UK market in 2021 and has proved to be a hit with ravenous customers ever since.
In just 30 months, the brand opened over 38 restaurants across the UK.
It has plans to reach the 60-restaurant milestone by the end of 2024.
You can find the nearest Popeyes store by using the locator tool on the chain's official website.
Earlier this month, another US fast food chain, Dave's Hot Chicken, announced its plans to open 60 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
The brand, known in the US for its jumbo hot chicken sliders, tenders, and bites, also offers sides like house-made kale slaw, creamy mac and cheese, and crispy, seasoned french fries.
The chain's chicken is available in seven spice levels, from no spice to reaper, the latter of which requires a signed waiver due to its intense heat.
Dave's Hot Chicken has partnered with Azzurri Group to spearhead its UK rollout.
The first restaurant is set to open in London in the first quarter of 2025.
