Inside Kate Middleton’s £134k Cartier jewellery collection – including 18-carat chain from Wills & £3k gold earrings
PRINCESS Kate kickstarted the new year with an emotional engagement visiting cancer patients at the hospital where she was treated.
During the visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, the royal mum-of-three looked elegant in a berry-toned Blaze Milano coat - but it was her earrings that stole the show.
For the outing, Princess Kate wore a timeless pair of Cartier earrings from the “Trinity” range.
The earrings feature three intertwined bands in 18-carat white, yellow and rose gold and will set you back £3,050.
The hoops have been seen as a nod to the late Princess Diana, who was a fan of the collection and frequently wore a “Trinity” ring on her little finger.
And it’s not the first time Princess Kate has showcased her love of Cartier among her dazzling jewellery collection…

£50,000 Cartier necklace
Back during the 2012 Olympics, Kate dazzled in a blue Stella McCartney dress at an exhibition about the Games at the National Portrait Gallery.
Casually, the royal added a £50,000 Cartier Trinity Necklace with an 18-carat chain.
The 18-carat chain has pavé diamonds as well as three intertwined circles of pink, yellow and white gold.
Kate rewore it again in 2014, at a Creativity is GREAT Britain's event in New York, where it added some pizzazz to a black roll-neck jumper.
Cartier earrings
The Princess of Wales was later seen wearing Cartier earrings in 2016 at a SportsAid's 40th anniversary dinner at Kensington Palace, and it was thought the set - necklace and earrings - was worth £121,000.
While it was speculated she received the jewellery from Prince William for her 30th birthday, a St James's Palace spokesman said of the necklace: "It's a personal piece which she's had for some time.
“It's not an official Olympic item but it's appropriate to wear it."

Trinity small set
Kate opted for a small, classic version of the Trinity set in 2017 for the Les Voisins in Action event in Paris.
The royal style queen dazzled in the 'Trinity' small 18ct white, rose, yellow-gold pendant necklace to match her 'Trinity' earrings.
Collectively the set retails for £4,050.
Ballon Bleu watch
For their third wedding anniversary in 2014, William is said to have bought Kate a Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch, which you can buy for around £6,000 today.
We saw the glamorous royal take the pricey watch for a spin as she visited one of her charities, The Art Room, in 2014.
We later saw her wearing it in 2016 as she undertook a royal tour with William in Canada.
How much is Princess Kate's jewellery worth overall?
STEPHANIE Tyler, jewellery expert at Purely Diamonds, said: “Kate’s most iconic pieces of jewellery are estimated to be worth a whopping £68,435,850 overall.
“Her jewellery collection is admired all over the world, with some of her pieces being recreated for less.
“However, these replicas do not represent the craftsmanship and history behind all of the Princess of Wales's treasures.”
