Harry Kane and Eric Dier to come up against Tottenham as part of special Bayern Munich agreement

BAYERN MUNICH are set to play Tottenham this summer - which will see ex-stars Harry Kane and Eric Dier return to their old club.

The clash was decided during the negotiation for the England captain to head over to the Bundesliga in September.

Kane parted ways with his boyhood club after he decided to not extend his contract in North London.

Bayern Munich reached an agreement with Spurs for a Bundesliga record to sign the striker for £82million.

And during the transfer talks both clubs decided to set up two friendlies.

The first game is scheduled to take place in the second week of August in London, with Spurs taking all the proceeds.

It remains to be decided when the second clash will happen in 2025.

Kane has scored 26 goals in 23 appearances for Thomas Tuchel’s side and is the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 22 goals.

The 30-year-old is on track for a record-breaking season and is in line to acquire at least one piece of silverware this term.

But Kane is not the only ex-Spurs star to return to his former club with Dier also set to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The defender made a move to the Allianz Arena earlier this month on a loan-to-buy deal after falling down the ranks under Ange Postecoglou.

And the England duo could be joined by another former Tottenham man as Kieran Trippier has emerged as a new transfer target at Bayern.

Boss Tuchel is keen to bolster his backline with the Newcastle defender top of his transfer list.
