Savvy shopper reveals how she nabbed 20 bottles of Pepsi Max for FREE in Asda – and it couldn’t be easier

IF you're catering for a large family this Christmas, then chances are the food and drink will end up costing a small fortune.

But, if you're looking to stock up on some fizzy drinks for the non-drinkers, you could just be in luck...because a savvy shopper has revealed a simple trick to nab 20 bottles of Pepsi Max for FREE in Asda.

Katie Sarah Marie took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of her trolley in Asda piled high with bottles of the popular fizzy drink.

Deciding not to gate-keep her money-saving secret, she explained: "Asda have 2 for £3 on Pepsi Max.

"For each bottle of Pepsi you buy you get £1 back in your cashpot using your Asda rewards.

"I bought 20 bottles for £30 getting £20 back in my cashpot.

"I then used my spin for spending over £5 and got another £10 in my cashpot making this Pepsi Max FREE."

The post quickly racked up a whopping 3.8k likes and over 880 comments from very impressed social media users.

"Wow that’s an ace deal well done!" praised one.

A second enthused: "What a dream!"

A third commented: "Get in there x well done!"

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "That's mad. Good job though."

Another added: "I thought we were the only family addicted to Pepsi!"

A further tagged a friend and asked: "Have a gander when you’re in!"

However, another pointed out: "I don’t think It’s in every store as it didn’t work for me today.

"Pepsi max was £2 a bottle and nothing went into the cashpot."

Asda shoppers were also recently going wild for a winter warmer scanning for 60p at tills & it’s perfect to avoid putting the heating on.

One woman spotted the super soft throw, featuring navy moon and stars, for just 60p.

The throw usually retails at £6 and also includes £3.50 for delivery.

She noted: "Asda Harlow, scanning at 60p, I brought 4 of them ahha."

At that bargain price, it's little surprise shoppers were full of praise for the energy-saving product online.
