Arrests made in Matthew Perry’s overdose death ‘with doctor & dealers in custody’ after he drowned in hot tub
MULTIPLE arrests have been made in connection with the death of Friends star Matthew Perry, according to reports.
The arrests comes nearly a year after Perry, 54, was found dead in the hot tub of his home in Los Angeles on October 28.
At least one doctor and several drug dealers who helped get and deliver the ketamine to Perry were arrested, police sources told TMZ.
Unearthed text messages revealed the discussions Perry had with one of the suspects, including details on the ketamine he wanted, how they were obtaining the drug, and the price, the outlet reported.
Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that is used to treat depression and pain, according to Johns Hopkins Medical.
An autopsy revealed the Friends star had traces of ketamine in his system on the night his live-in assistant discovered him drowned in the hot tub of his swimming pool at his Palisades home.
