I got kicked out of the gym for wearing the viral Shein leggings, men tell me to ‘cover up’ but their outfits are worse
A GYM queen is calling out double standards at the gym.
She was kicked out from hers for wearing viral Shein leggings.
She was stunned because there was barely any flesh on show.
She thought the accusation was hypocritical because she has seen guys wearing far worse outfits.
Some of their choices would even make your eyes water.
Nevertheless, men have seen fit to tell Mandy (@mandygonewild) to "cover up," in one of her posts.
They were sincere requests and with no irony intended.
Mandy is a hugely popular figure on TikTok with 1.2 million followers.
She shares her love of working out on her platform.
Her wardrobe invariably includes a pair of leggings and a top.
So far, so normal. But her Shein leggings alerted the sensitivities of some gym-goers.
“The leggings that got me kicked out of the gym," she said in her post.
She then proceeded to describe the gym outfit of a guy that passed without mention.
He wore a white vest and tight, lycra, green shorts.
As he pushed, huffed, and pulled weights through his workout, there was a lot of visible movement down below.
A lot of movement. It could not be missed.
There was very little left to the imagination. Once seen never forgotten.
For Mandy, however, despite the double standards, it's business as usual.
She will not be changing her gym style for anybody.
One commenter couldn't work out what the problem was.
