My skincare tip won’t cost you any more money – it’s really easy and will help combat dark circles under your eyes
ALL the skincare in the world won't matter if you can't identify the source of the issue.
One woman has shared a skincare tip that's not only free but will help you save money on products.
Bambi (@bambidoesbeauty) shared the advice in a video with over 280,000 TikTok followers.
The beauty influencer got ready to settle down for the evening by prepping her skin.
She brought viewers close for a look at her under eyes: "If you've got dark circles, there's one really easy hack to work out which type you have," she said.
She demonstrated something she called The Pinch Test, taking both of her index fingers under the eyes.
"Lightly pinch the skin on the dark circle," she said.
As she lifted her fingers, the pigment under her eyes disappeared, which Bambi explained revealed the cause of her dark circles was from thin skin.
"If when you pinch, the darkness is still there, you've got pigmentation," she said.
People were confused at first about what the information could reveal: "I don't know what to do with this information," said one viewer.
Others explained that once the problem was identified, steps could be taken to address directly the root source.
"For thin skin, you get Botox injections," replied one viewer.
Some offered their skincare advice for different eye skin types.
"If you have thin skin, try a retinoid eye cream, if you have pigmentation, maybe try something with vitamin C or azelaic acid," said one.
