AFTER undergoing a surgery to improve her teeth, one woman shared the shocking results.
She explained that the recovery process made her look like she had "the biggest glow-down" of her life.
In her viral video, TikTok user Sammie (@sammieladolcevita1) explained that she had a procedure to help her teeth in the long-term.
She revealed she underwent jaw expansion surgery to help align her jawline.
Sammie told her followers that there were "a few reasons" for the procedure, primarily "to get my teeth straight."
"If I got braces they would just go back to how they were, my jaw bone is not sitting correctly," she said.

The TikToker showed her audience the aftermath of the surgery, which she described as "one hell of a journey."
While Sammie's before pictures showed a slim and defined jawline, the after shots were almost unrecognisable.
"When you had the biggest ‘glow’ down of your life," she joked as she shared several photos of her recovery.
She revealed that she was only in stage one of the process, progressing from wearing a bandage around her chin to supporting it with additional aid.
Her jawline appeared to be swollen and had dark bruising throughout.
Sammie told her audience she hoped the procedure was "all worth it in the end."
The TikToker said that the gap in her teeth "closed really quickly" as a result of the "horrible" surgery.
She acknowledged that her face had "changed so much for the worst" but added that she "has faith in the process."
According to her, the issue was "too far gone" to be solved by mewing and using a mouthguard.
Sammie revealed that her next steps involved getting braces and another surgery on her bottom jaw.
She explained that she has an expander in her mouth and has to turn it every day "to make it bigger."
What is jaw expansion surgery?
Jaw expansion surgery is performed when a patient's upper jaw is not big enough to facilitate an effective bite.
During the procedure, the patient's job is repositioned and held in their new position using small screws.
Plates are placed beneath the gum, which are generally left indefinitely.
While "there's a lot more to do," the TikToker said she was "healing" and feeling "a lot better."
She added that she was thankful to be able to work from home while she continued to recover.
