I was a teen mum after getting pregnant at 16 and I’m sick of seeing people trying to glamorise it – it’s tough
A WOMAN who get pregnant as a teenager has revealed she's sick of people glamorising teenage pregnancy.
Anna J, 19, from the UK, took to social media claiming it wasn't as fun as it might seem to some.
While the young mum doesn't regret having her child, she did say it was a lot tougher than people make out and it comes with its own list of cons.
The mum responded to people who think having kids young will be much easier than doing it older.
"It's so much better to be a teen mum, I won't have to change nappies in my 30s," she wrote.
But the mum said: "You're f***ing delusional in reply to the comment.

"I had a baby at 16 I have every right to my opinion on this matter," she added.
Anna was hit by a flurry of comments asking for more details on why she was against supporting teen pregnancy.
"Can I ask why this is a bad thing to say? no hate I'm just curious," asked one.
Anna was quick to give her opinion on why people shouldn't glamorise young pregnancies.
She said: "Basically, I'm not saying it's a bad thing to say it, but what I am saying is it's bad to glamorising teen pregnancy.
"Everyone on TikTok lies, I've seen so many teen mums glamorising having a child on here and saying 'oh you should do it' to all the commenters, that's what i don't like."
The young mum who now has a three-year-old revealed it wasn't as easy as other teen mums make it out to be.
She continued: "Even now, three years later, I am still finding it hard.
"It is the rest of my life now, literally the rest of my life.
"I don't think it's a good idea for people to be lying to young girls saying it's good to have a baby so young.
"It's not good to get pregnant on purpose as a teenager, I don't care."
Anna explained that she didn't think being a young mum meant being a bad mum, she was just sick of being a young mum start to trend.
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @annajxoxo with over 500k views and 40 likes.
Plenty of people were quick to take to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: "There’s a difference between supporting a pregnant teen and supporting teenage pregnancy.
Teenage pregnancy is not ideal, however if it happens, we support those people."
"Absolutely you are completely right! Once it’s done it’s done and everyone deserves love and support," agreed Anna.
Another commented: "I had 5 at 22 and yes it was hard but the best thing ever that isn’t a lie."
"True and also you can have your children in your 20s and not be changing diapers in your 30s. That’s what my mum did," penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "100% agree I have 2 girls and I’m 23, I wouldn’t change my life for the world but I just wish I’d waited to live my life."
"I second this.. I had my first at 18 and my second at 20.. it’s the rest of mine and I’m a single mum now. It’s A LOT,” claimed a fifth.
